1. Acceptance and Eligibility
These Terms form an agreement between you and Resume Maker regarding your use of resume-maker.net and related features. You may use the service only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and comply with these Terms.
If you use the service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Our Service
Resume Maker provides online tools for creating, editing, analyzing, translating, exporting, and sharing resume-related content. The service may also include AI-assisted writing tools, mock interview tools, professional photo generation, and paid subscription features.
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, including to maintain security, comply with law, address abuse, or evolve the product.
3. Accounts and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any login method you use, including Google sign-in, one-time codes, and device access.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
- We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, security risk, or violations of these Terms.
4. User Content and Your Responsibilities
You retain ownership of the resumes, prompts, uploaded files, interview content, and other material you submit to the service. However, you grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, reproduce, transform, and transmit that content in order to operate the product and respond to your requests.
- You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and appropriateness of the content you submit or publish.
- You must not upload or share content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy rights, contains unlawful personal data disclosures, or breaches contracts or professional obligations.
- You are responsible for reviewing any exported, generated, or publicly shared content before relying on it or sending it to employers, clients, or third parties.
6. AI Features and Generated Outputs
AI features are provided for convenience and productivity. Generated outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, offensive, out of date, or unsuitable for your particular purpose. They do not constitute legal, employment, immigration, medical, accounting, or other professional advice.
- You must independently review and validate AI-generated suggestions, translations, reports, cover letters, interview evaluations, and image outputs.
- You must not rely on AI output as the sole basis for making high-impact personal, legal, financial, employment, or compliance decisions.
- We may use third-party AI providers to process the inputs needed to provide these features.
7. Paid Plans, Billing, and Cancellation
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe or a successor billing provider. We do not store your full payment card details on our own servers.
- Pricing, feature entitlements, billing intervals, and renewal logic may change over time. The price shown at checkout governs the purchase you make at that moment.
- Subscription status depends on successful billing events and may be limited, paused, or revoked if payments fail, are reversed, or are determined to be fraudulent.
- At present, self-serve cancellation and billing management may not be available for every account flow. Billing, cancellation, and invoice-related requests may be handled through [email protected].
- Unless required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once service access has been granted for the applicable billing period.
8. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity.
- Do not attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or access controls of the service.
- Do not use automated means to scrape, mirror, harvest, or mass-download content except where we expressly allow it.
- Do not submit malicious code, prompts intended to abuse third-party systems, or content that creates unreasonable security, privacy, or compliance risk.
- Do not use the service to impersonate others, violate employment or confidentiality obligations, or distribute regulated or sensitive personal data without a lawful basis.
9. Intellectual Property and Feedback
The service, excluding your content, is owned by Resume Maker or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership in our software, branding, site content, or service design.
If you provide feedback, feature requests, or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
10. Availability, Disclaimers, and Liability Limits
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Resume Maker will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill, data, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension, Termination, and Changes
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or disable features where necessary to protect users, comply with law, address abuse, or enforce these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Disputes and Contact
If you have a dispute or concern, contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by applicable law, and nothing in them limits any mandatory consumer rights or other non-waivable protections that apply to you.
